Anne Katherine Corley
We went behind enemy lines today (aka Auburn) to be a part of the baptism of Anne Katherine Corley. She did so well and is such a beautiful little baby girl:) I love her like my own and cannot believe she is growing up so fast- I told her today her boyfriend will be coming soon:)
27 weeks and the beginnings of a nursery
So I kept thinking I had so much time to get started on his nursery and then I realized I was now in my third trimester and I better get things going. Saturday we painted the nursery and unpacked the changing station. The crib and shelves should be in soon- they have been on back order since June! I have also picked fabrics below. The bed skirt and drapes will be the stripe and bumper pads will be the twall and cream with the plaid as piping and ties. I can't wait to see it all made- I have a very talented woman sewing for me, I am not that talented!
The additional fabric here is the color of the glider I just ordered.
As Far as Davis and I go- we are both still growing! He is definitely active so we may have a wild one on our hands!

24 week appointment
I went back to the doctor last monday for my 24 week appointment. I had the glucose test, heard Davis' heartbeat ,and was measured for the first time. I am measuring 24 inches as I am supposed to so everything seems to be right on track. One more monthly appointment and then I start going to the doctor every 2 weeks- third trimester is right around the corner.
Davis is definitely getting stronger and his kicks are getting harder:) He kicks hard enough to to see my stomach move and he has started pushing to one side or the other. I felt a little knot of the right side yesterday but don't know if it was his head or his little butt:) He is also reacting to loud sounds now too- we went to the Biscuits Game on Saturday night and they had fireworks after the game. Little man jumped after a really loud firework went off- poor baby!
Its a wonderful feeling but it makes me so ready to meet him in a few months!
Below is a picture we took this weekend at 25 weeks pregnant- getting bigger and bigger!
